Volunteer Program

The primary function of the school volunteer program is to conduct our major fundraisers, most notably the BASH (Building a Scholastic Heritage) Auction which takes place in the spring.  Each year our volunteer parents help raise $90,000 to $100,000 for the operating and non-operating budgets of the school, and this financial support helps offset the cost of tuition for our school families.   The volunteer program also supports our school enrichment activities and events, not only for students and families, but for the parish as a whole and the community at large.

We value the support and involvement of our school volunteers.  Every parent is a member of our Parents’ Club and as such they are afforded a myriad of opportunities to fulfill their volunteer committment and be directly and indirectly involved in the education of their children.  Individual involvement may take on different forms, from room parent to playground aide, to coach or hot lunch helper, just to name a few.  The creativity, talents and fortitude of our school parents form the “glue” that holds the program together, and this teamwork is what makes our school so successful.  It’s an example of true Christian unity.

Please join in – there’s something for everyone!
