Ms. Christa Kavanagh, Second Grade

I attended St. Jane Francis Catholic  Elementary  School, Providence Catholic High School and Mt. St. Mary’s College.  After earning a B.A. in English, I taught in an extended day kindergarten for the Los Angeles school district. In Arizona, I taught adults English as a Second Language for the Flagstaff School District. I then attended Northern Arizona University to complete a post graduate teaching credential.  I worked for the Phoenix School District for five years teaching second and third grades. When I moved to Sequim, my children attended Queen of Angels School and I taught first grade. Ten years later, I began teaching second grade. It is a joy to share faith with the little ones and to support parents in the religious instruction of their children.
